Dover Yoga and Dover Pilates offers over 25 Yoga and Pilates classes a week in various styles and levels. We have classes available for all levels of experience from beginner to advanced. Developed by Joseph Pilates in the 1920's, this system of mind-body floor and equipment based exercises is known to dramatically transform the way your body looks and feels. Not only does it help with posture, but it also offers practitioners gains in strength, flexibility, and agility as well as a sleek toned look to the body. In addition Pilates can be used for rehabilitation purposes. We offer Pilates through supervised and customized work outs. We provide our clients with private, semi-private and group Mat, Reformer and Tower Classes. Classes are complemented with the use of free weights, magic circles, Swiss Balls, and resistance Bands. All of our staff is extensively trained through various schools of Pilates, are professional and supportive. We have an integrative approach to the Pilates Method, our instructors combine all of their knowledge from the various and extensive Pilates trainings, classical to non-traditional, to bring you the most well rounded Pilates experience available.
